The film was released in 2009 and became a hit among the Pakistani audiences, who enjoyed its hilarious dialogues, slapstick humor, and spoof songs. The film also received positive reviews from some critics, who praised its witty script, clever parody, and entertaining performances. The film was directed by Sikandar Sanam himself, who also wrote the screenplay and composed the music.

The Plot of Ghajini 2

The film follows the same plot as the original Ghajini, with some changes and additions to make it more humorous and relevant to the Pakistani context. The film begins with Sanjay Singhania being chased by the police, who suspect him of being a serial killer. He escapes from them and reaches his apartment, where he has tattooed his body with clues and reminders about his enemies. He also uses Polaroid photos and notes to help him remember his past.

Through flashbacks, we learn that Sanjay was once a successful businessman who owned a mobile phone company called Air Voice. He fell in love with Kalpana, a model and social activist who helped poor children. However, his rival Ghajini Dharmatma, played by Saleem Afridi, wanted to destroy his business and kill his girlfriend. He hired a gang of thugs to attack Sanjay and Kalpana on their way to a charity event. The thugs brutally killed Kalpana and hit Sanjay on the head with an iron rod, causing him to lose his memory.

Sanjay survived the attack but could only remember his life until 15 minutes before the incident. He vowed to avenge Kalpana's death and kill Ghajini and his men. He used his tattoos, photos, and notes to track down his enemies one by one and kill them with various weapons and methods. He also met Sunita, played by Irfan Malik, a medical student who was researching on anterograde amnesia. She found out about Sanjay's condition and decided to help him.

The film ends with Sanjay finally confronting Ghajini and killing him in a climactic fight scene. He then sees Kalpana's photo on his phone and smiles, remembering her for a brief moment before forgetting her again.

The Songs of Ghajini 2

The film features six spoof songs that parody the original songs from Ghajini as well as other popular Bollywood songs. The songs are sung by Sikandar Sanam, Shakeel Shah, Saleem Afridi, Irfan Malik, Rauf Lala, and other singers. The lyrics are written by Sikandar Sanam and are full of jokes, puns, and references to Pakistani culture and politics. The songs are:
